“Tell Me Your Stories” is an intimate and inspiring 8-week writing created especially for seniors who feel called to preserve, explore, and share the stories of their lives. This workshop offers a welcoming, supportive space where memories are honored, voices are nurtured, and life experiences are shaped into meaningful written expression. Scholarships are available for any low-income seniors interested in participating. For those able to pay, there is a $10 fee per class session.
The workshop is being led by Cynthia Waring (pictured at left), an accomplished author and playwright whose celebrated work “Bodies Unbound” has inspired audiences nationwide for decades. As a senior herself, Cynthia brings a rare blend of artistic mastery, intuitive insight, and heartfelt connection to her teaching. Her enthusiasm, compassion, and vibrant spirit create an atmosphere that is both energizing and deeply supportive.
Each session gently guides participants into the art of storytelling. Through thoughtfully offered prompts—exploring memories of childhood, travel, love, loss, and pivotal life moments—participants will write for 20 minutes, allowing their stories to emerge naturally and authentically.
Cost is $10 per class, and there are scholarships available for those unable to pay. For more information, scheduling and registration contact: cynthiawaring22@gmail.com
