GROUP COUNSELING TRAINING

The Center for Successful Aging is looking for caring and compassionate adults who would like to become senior peer counselors to assist other seniors having difficulty with the challenges of aging.
CSA's Executive Director, Dr. Gary Linker will be conducting a training for people interested in co-leading groups beginning
on Monday, January 23rd.

3:00-4:30pm
Sessions continuing for 6 consecutive Mondays
1528 Chapala St.

There is a $100 fee and scholarships are available.

The Center for Successful Aging provides free individual peer counseling and free peer support groups to all adults over the age of 50. Seniors who are facing issues of loneliness, isolation, loss and declining health find an empathetic ear from adults of the same generation who have shared many of the same life experiences.
