What's in your future?
SANTA BARBARA VILLAGE

You can have a say in the quality of your life and your future. Join us in creating a cutting edge "village" membership program that brings quality services to you in the comfort of your own home while you enjoy the opportunities of a Santa Barbara lifestyle.

Based on an already established program in Boston, Massachusetts, this concept is ready to be launched in Santa Barbara. "Santa Barbara Village " will offer a network of high- quality resources, services, programs, and activities that revolve around daily living. With the growth of the aging baby boomer population and the overextension of facilities and medical system, this model is a viable alternative. Membership will be open to all ages throughout Santa Barbara.

We invite you to attend an upcoming forum discussing the formation of this innovative model to support the lifestyle you choose. Learn how you can be a part of shaping your future in one of these two informative discussion forums (RSVP requested):

Next Village meeting: TBD

On July 22, The Center for Successful Aging invited the community to visit us at our brand new location in the Hutton Non-Profit building at 1528 Chapala St. Nearly one hundred of our friends and supporters stopped by our office to wish us good luck in our new digs.

Thanks to the committee, Ann Moore, Jennifer Harris, Shen Rajan, Bobbi Kroot, Mandy Schnibben and Gayle & Marty Golden for their hard work in organizing and setting up, the amazing cleaner-upper helpers Lorna Larsen, Nancy Warden and Judith Kopf, and all the counselors who were such delightful hosts & hostesses.

Honorable mention to our security guard, Mr. Art Kroot.
