Three years ago, the Center for Successful Aging was proud to accept the award for Senior Program of the year, given by the Area Agency on Aging. CSA is most happy to announce that this year, one of our peer counselors and one of our board members were recipients of a similar award, given by the Area Agency on Aging.
Nancy Warda and Jeanne West were honored for being astute enough to recognize an egregious case of elder financial abuse ( of over $1 million ) and for their perseverance, their dedication and their compassion in seeing that justice was achieved for one elderly member of our Santa Barbara community. They are an example to us all.
